I like the two angles
[front and side view]
of his hand & face,
and the dialogue
between the two circles
big and small.
They seem happy.

 On July 12

the Ministry of the Interior,

" The entrepreneurial success

of Love’s Bakery truly

deserves to go to one woman,

Fanny Johnson Love.

Robert Sr. passed away,

Robert Jr. and his wife, Fanny, took

over the business. At the age of 48,

Fanny was widowed

with 6 children

That is what I believe in, Aouli.

I Love the Progress of the Day

A  L  O  H  A !

I love the progress of the day.
Time flies when we're having fun.
Constancy in change
satisfies deeply-

Don't You love
Morning Noon & Night?

"We're all traveling
through time together,
every day of our lives.
All we can do
is do our best to relish
this remarkable ride"
                          Richard Curtis

"Write it on your heart
that every day
 is the best day
 in the year."
                      Ralph Waldo Emerson

Can you tell
that I am giddy
to see the sun again?

"We should consider
every day lost
in which we haven't
danced at least once."

How I love Morning
freshness and routines.

Lots can be seen
and done
before lunch.

Ah! Lunch!
How pleasant.

Easing into afternoon's
welcoming hours,
Wearying of Bright,
signs of Dusk
a welcome sight.

Happy Hour
[it even has a Name!]
crowns the day of DO
Now it's My Time
Our Time.
Share a brew.

Till Night & Sleep
turn their magic
upon us,
Upon the
whole world.

I love the progress
of the day
though it be.

Thank You
for sharing the dance!

Don't seek TRUTH,
just stop being so invested
in your own point of view,
and it will reveal itself to you.

"Finish each day
& be done with it.
You have done
what you could.
Learn from it;
is a new day."

Thank Goodness It's Raining

Thank goodness
it's JUST raining!

Hurricane Ana
is lingering
 in our neighborhood
as it brushes our islands
with Rain Rain Rain.

Very grey and unsettled.

Kitty has taken to her cave

under the bed.

My feelings are Gratitude

that the hurricane
stayed offshore,
accompanied by
 a sort of
storm exhaustion.

who has ever built
a new heaven
acquired the capacity
in his own hell."
